So we revisited the damaged PS3 with an industrial strength heat gun this time. The result? A BRAND NEW PS3!!! The finished fix runs quieter than it did out of the box, and it plays like new. So for a total of about $7 in material and 3 mins with a $25 heat gun...we were able to rebuild a $300 PS3. And you know what that means...I'm opening shop!!! If your PS3 is busted, gimme a call....o yea, no gaurantees though...haha
