Imagine this

A horrible global disaster has hit and 90% of the population has been killed by a viral outbreak. Some how the survivors are immune to the disease, but the world is now post apocalyptic and the survivors must fend for themselves as they begin to rebuild. he Discovery Channel is currently conducting an experiment/reality show where they've dropped 10 people of different disciplines (engineet, doctor, handman, trainer...) into an abandoned city after being deprived sleep, food, and water for thirty hours. They will b in this city for 10 weeks an must find their own means to survive. The key twist is that there are muaraders/gangs that will try to shake up the 10 by stealing food and testing security, but the 10 don't know anything about them so the conflict and interactions between them are truely genuine. The show is called the colony, it comes on Tuesdays at 10pm you can catch the first two episodes on hulu or discoverytv.com. They also do reruns on Saturday I think...what would be the first think you do in such a situation??? Comment below...

Watch what you say...

Check this out...over the past week a young female 'tweeted' a friend of hers to come to a party and get out of her moldy horizon realty rented apartment. That statement was caught by horizon realty and they are now looking to take her to court!!!! That's right they are filing a $50,000 law suit for the negative publicity. Best part....she only had 20 followers, and now that they've done this, everyone can find out lol.

Everybody's a Critic...9

So I was finally able to peep the highly underrated feature film "Push" staring Chris Evans (Human Torch in Fantastic 4) and Dakota Fanning (small blonde girl in tons of movies). The world the story is set in is quite compelling...you get a feel for what is going on in the first 10 mins and explanations come along as the movie progresses. It is sci-fi in nature (many characters of the story have telekinetic powers) but still believable. I'd rather not ruin the movie for you so I'll stop here, but definitely push this to the top of your netflix list...we give it 2 Thumbs up!

That's pretty sweet!

A lot of movies have been coming out in 3D lately, and if you haven't heard, they've even released some high-end computer monitors/TV's that allow playback of 3D media. Some channels have even aired 3D episodes of shows/commercials (although you needed special glasses to watch them). So 3D is definitely a fighting trend....as you can see above youTUBE has enabled playback of 3D videos for the past couple days. They allow many different options so even if you don't have those tubular glasses, you can try to cross your eyes long enough to watch a video without getting them stuck! Really cool I tell ya!

Sibling rivalry...

Today I may have read one of the craziest accounts of my life...I have to share:

"today after a fight with my sister I took a shower. As I was rinsing out my conditioner I realized how she got me back. Her bottle of Nair was empty, and my conditioner was extra full. Let's say conditioner isn't the only thing I rinsed out of my head in the shower...FML"

It takes extreme hatred to do something like that. Moral of the story, love your siblings or have a really good prank on reserve!

When slooooooow people drive in the left lane!!! I'm 99.9% sure that they teach you in driver's ed that you use the left lane to pass, not to hold up. I simply don't get it...you see all these people zipping by you, it's not cuz their going fast...it's cuz you are in the WRONG LANE!! They make me wish I had a monster truck to crush those fools ugh! This guy Pitbull definitely isn't the best rapper around, and maybe it's just my inner love for miami...but is it me or does he have some bangers!?! His songs are highly unoriginal and his hooks & beats are usually over sampled...but the way he spins it just makes you have a good time haha! So Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince came out yesterday. The woman I love could hardly contain herself so we ventured out to see it. I think I have seen all 6 of the movies and read 0 pages of any of the books. Most of the movies were enjoyable if not good. This one just kept building up to something they never reach. 2.5 hours mostly filled with fluff, the nice visual effects are still there, but less frequently than past films. All in all this film will make you want to see the next film, and nothing more...bad ending with a blatant cliffhanger. My verdict...half a thumb up...leave it to the true potterheads.

Yes I'm back readers...I had an interesting stint as an insomnia striken night shift employee...but alast I have returned to my natural 9-5 dayze (7-4 to be more exact) and yet I am still tired!! Freaking CRAZY!!!

Imagine popping open that fresh new energy drink you bought at 7/11 expecting to receive an energizing pep for you step, and instead you get a razor blade lodged in your jugular!!! I know it's nearly impossible to believe in 2009, but some how this energy drink (Hardcore Energize Bullet Drink and New Whey Liquid Products) was put on shelves with razor blades in the bottle (yea I know, it really is hardcore!! shoulda had bullets inside though...). One vial of each product (Energize Bullet and Whey Liquid) was found with the blades within. Luckily no one has been injured as of now.

Now that's really 'spiking' someone's drink!

A day before [R Kelly] left for his South Africa tour) about 8 police squad cars pulled up at his front gate. One of the officers, in a loud, commanding voice, yelled: "This is the police. Open up this gate at once. We have a search warrant".

After seeing the officers via his security monitors, Robert instructed his security guys to open the gate. The officers searched the entire house. They were looking for an underage girl who had spent several days at his home with him. Ironically, the girl had just left the mansion about 20 minutes before the police arrived with the search warrant.

The police eventually caught up with the girl, who had just turned 17 years-old--just above the legal limit in the state of Illinois. However, the Olympia Fields Police are still tenaciously pursuing the case. They are still gathering evidence, which includes signed affidavits from several witnesses from within R. Kelly's circle, who can attest to the girl spending consecutive nights at his home prior to the date of her birthday.
