This is like one of those days college students pretend they are going to study outside but actually end up laying in the sun all day and skip every single class 'unknowingly'! Real Estate

As far as I know, the majority of our readers don't own their own homes yet. As a real estate agent I thought it only right I let you guys know the time to buy was definitely here. I have two clients right now and its like the extra large pool of houses for sale at good prices is getting more and more shallow everyday. In other words houses are going like hot cakes in certain areas!! Just thought I'd share...that's what blogs are for, right?

Weekend project...

It was incredibly sunny today and warm for a little while, so I decided to start off a weekend project. The audio system in my car was shot...I originally had two amps (seen here)for my front and rear speakers, one of which had rotted out causing speaker distortion. Last week I bought one amp to replace them with and today felt like the day to make the change. After opening the dashboard and verifying the wiring I removed the old amps and restripped the wires. Screw in the new amp, test each speaker and it's location. Finally I screwed the housing board back into place and guided wires underneath. I was running out of daylight, so the wires will have to stay visible for now. Sometime later on I'll drill holes and run the cables straight through for a nice clean finish. There you have it, my new Alpine MRP-F300 install. There's another talent I'll add to my resume...car audio installer!!! Now that I've gotten this install to work on my own car I feel comfortable saying that hahaha. Let me know what you guys think or if you need some info/work.

Who needs a geek squad?!

So ever since my last semester of undergrad, my 2004 dell laptop has been stuggling. The battery was completely dead turning it into a desktop, the original 30 gig hard drive had about 300 MB left requiring me to delete something at the end of each week, and it was built when 512 MB RAM was great. Last night was the final straw so I decided to open that bad boy up! First I backed up all my important files and music to an external hard drive. Then I spent about $200 on parts (new battery [most expensive part], 120 GB hard drive, two 1 GB sticks of RAM, and a cheap cloning kit to turn the old hard drive into a backup/external hard drive). With a little tech savy and 1-2 hours I was upgrade my computer w/o any trouble! Just thought I'd share that with y'all. I've been taking a computer class, so if u got any similar issues hit me up, I charge way less than geek squad!!

"Don't let it fool ya..." Definitely do not judge this movie by the cover...though it may look like a bad-ass war action flick, it really isn't...well that's only half right, because it is a "bad war action flick." The movie is all over the place and never comes together, you are 10x more likely to fall asleep than enjoy this movie. Cuba Gooding Jr's last couple of movies have all gone straight to DVD some of which were actually quite good (Hero Wanted, End Game, Dirty), but Way of War was a Waste of Time! Gotta give this one a double thumbs down. I can prescribe it as a cure to insomnia though....

Should Craig's List be Regulated?

I don't know if you've heard, but there's an ongoing case about some guy who killed a 'masseuse' from craig's list and possibly tied up/robbed a second one. Check out the link above for the story. Sounds like the perpetrator would get a masseuse/professional off of craigs list then tie them up and rob them. One case went seriously wrong...what do you guys think about the list letting people sell themselves, i mean their services like that??

TV you should know about.....2

So I just saw this new show on MTV called "The Phone."
The show is produced/created by Justin Timberlake. The concept kind of reminds me of the movie Eagle Eye...the contestants appear to have signed up for an action game show and all they know is to show up at some place three months later and wait for direction. They pick up a ringing phone and do all kinds of crazy activities for the chance to make some money. MTV loves reruns, so be sure to check it out if its on...but for now watch the extended trailer, in HQ, and lemme know what you think...I know I'd enjoy the game.

Now that's embarrassing

So, how are you all doing on this beautiful Friday?? I'm doing quite well, but unfortunately I know someone who isn't... Do I'm currently on a four hour bus ride outta state, about 20 mins in, and I start to hear loud moans/screams from the back. I'm sitting in the 4th row. 2 mins later someone comes to the front and tells the bus driver, "...a woman is stuck in the bathroom." It seems as though she had the 'run' and as soon as she got on the bus she made a run for the back. After she realized her 10 minute attempt to get out by herself was futile, she began to yell for help! Lmao. After the other passenger told the driver, he stopped the bus and went to the back to walk her through unlocking the door....priceless! As if that wasn't bad enough, she has a 3.5 hour ride with all these people who were laughing at her nasty behind!!!!

The spring is finally here!! (at least that's how it felt today). So with warm weather comes diff outfits, some foolish, some scandalous, and others simply confusing. One style that's been around a few years now is male capri pants....


what the hell is up with that?? It looks so feminine it's not even funny. I could understand dude saying, "it cost 33.3% less without that third of the pants!" But we all know that ain't the damn case!! And dont get me started on male skinny jeans...just makes me wonder what's next? Men in gauchos?????

Alright, I'm scared to believe this, but reports show that Judge Greg Mathis from the TV court show Judge Mathis is working on a video game. The Judge's video game debut is to be entitled... "Mathis "Detroit" Street Judge" ....that's right, believe it or not. The game will be a third person shooter similar to the controversial Grand Theft Auto franchise. Here's another shocker...when talking about the game and the story line, Mathis said... "...When you go to prison you can also be raped..." Hmmm, I'm not sure how I should take that (pause).

Tip to your Barber...

Everyone knows you should tip your barber if he does a good job...but I have a different kind of tip for you barbers out there. First the back story, when men get their hair cut, they often get shaved near the edges for a line up...to prevent any infection afterward good barbers will put alcohol on. The best way to do it is put it in the neck guard and use as a swab. I've had dudes just spray my face with alcohol....WTF!!! Today by far was the worst, dude pours...yes I said pours...the rubbing alcohol in his hands and slaps my face up!!! I just smile and walk the f*ck out!!! I know I'm not the best barber in the world (sorry absolutefiasco) but damn, u ain't getting paid for that...

I must admit, I hadn't gone to the gym for at least 4 weeks...I blame it partially on vacation thou. Anyway I decided to jump back on the routine this morning and if you remember my last post about the gym, u know what suspectivity I am referring too. Tell me why I hear two old ass men bashing gay people, particularly married gay men behind me...after changing shoes I glance behind me (my first mistake) and what do you know, they are both sitting side by side bare ass on a bench made for one person!!! I think they call that projection...no?

If you haven't seen a movie where someone erases someone else's memory, chances are you missing a little piece of something in your life. You may have also missed your first warning of the technology. Believe it or not, researchers at SUNY Downstate Medical Center have developed a drug that has successfully erased memories. Trials were conducted in lab rats. Once the rats learned not to go to a certain area of the maze which was electrified, they administered the drug and low and behold, rat started getting zapped again. The doctors believe the drug will be used on humans "one day" and may have applications as a memory enhancer. Anyone willing to be the first human guinea pig??

I try to listen to Angie Martinez's radio show on my way home from work as often as possible. Today her show was the best choice by far!! She had this silly style'd character on. As Angie tries to go in on dude and discuss the current situation with Dipset he starts going on and on about Tredstone...that's right, the experimental project from the Bourne Trilogy! Angie's trying her best to get something out of Cam and then he says...."its like beef patties and dandruff...pumas and terri cloth...going to the moon and laying down carpet." After he makes these ridiculous analogies to her next 3 attempts at getting something out of him...she proceeds to ask him what he's taking and how high he is!!! Clearly this was a perfect time to take a break. I still don't understand why dude where's these (^) crazy silly outfits...

*Update* ...when they returned Cam'ron claimed to have called Tredstone to ensure he could speak about the situation and proceeded to do so...but who cares...the first 6 mins of the show made it great.

He had a blowout and we had to swap a tire....note to all drivers....if you have to change a tire, and you can choose to get on solid ground...DO IT!!! otherwise don't jack up the car w/o a piece of plywood beneath.

Last night on Making the Band 4 Diddy had me rolling as he jokes about the "tragic" situation of day26 as they face the makeing the band curse. Recently watched Definitely, Maybe featuring Ryan Reynolds. Yes, I was feeling lonely and vulnerable so I bumped it to the top of my rental queue...don't judge me! Anyway, it's actually a pretty good romantic comedy I would definitely (not maybe) give two thumbs up for a dinner and a movie (rental) date flick. It's about this dude telling his daughter the story of how he fell in love with her mother. I promise the next film will be far more manly...
