Recently I've heard/read a bunch of stories about peoples careers/lives being ruined because of the internet. And by internet I mean Facebook, MySpace...so on. Check this out...there was a married couple who were having issues and on a break...i guess thats what they call it...and because the wife changed her status to single, not only did she nearly catch a Chris Brown, but he instantly filed for divorce. Another story spoke a about a local university althetic team being disbanned because of facebook photos showing underage drinking and party'n. We've all heard the stories about hott teachings being poked by their 13 year old students then suddenly....resigning. My question to you is should we be judged/punished for our "internet lives" and let this be a notice to you....

Yesterday Keri Hilson's debut solo album dropped. From what I've heard it seems to be worth the hype. My favorite song without a doubt is "Slow Dance" ...the beat instantly puts me in the zone. If you want me to post her album "In A Perfect World..." then comment, the sooner you do it the sooner I'll validate the posting. Have you ever really went in on weekend out with friends?? You know what I mean...maybe you had one to many drinks or maybe you forgot to eat before hitting the club. Either way we all know how the next day begins.... Slight headache? Waking up early? Slow queasiness growing? If this is the result and you're forced to...how should I say...."upchuck?" you may often think, I immediately regret that decision!! But sucks the most is when your body trys to go for it and you got nothing left to purge! Sorry if your squeemish...just remembering college life.

Last night I spoke with a reader about this jerk and his 150 year sentence he is up against. What exactly is the point of giving people impossible sentences? I've always wondered about that. Coming to a Theater Near You...v6

As much as I dislike her, Beyonce will be back with her 3rd major motion picture this year. "Obsessed" is scheduled for release April 24th. The story has something to do with temp girl gets obsessed with her boss...doesn't understand the word NO...wife needs to rectify situation. Critic Time! I want to see this movie, probably wait for it to hit Netflix though. Cast: the temp is Ali Larter...from Heroes, she plays a crazy very well according to the trailers I've seen, but I don't really see Beyonce as a stay at home mom....am I the only one?? They got her all dressed down but I don't buy it. Anyway share you're comments and peep the trailer...remember HD is available 4 those who please.

Inspiration...

My parents are the biggest inspiration in my life and they've pushed me to become the active blogger I am today....LMAO just kidding. But really they are the largest inspiration in my life. Recently my uncle won one of 2008's Black Engineer of the Year Awards for his technilogical and humanitarian contributions. I just want to say congrats and to let him know how inspiring that is.

Hey readers, you all inspire me too...go out and tell someone they inspire you...it's really a great feeling to know you're effecting someone positively.

Have you ever been to a stand-up comedy show where the comedian was.....less then funny? Or maybe they really gave it their all but nothing tickled your funny bone? Or maybe you forward a video of their performance to your co-workers, not because of how funny they are, but because of how bad they FAIL'd! I just want everyone to know its ok to laugh AT them rather than WITH them. Why get on a stage and make a fool of yourself accidently??? Somewhere along the way someone had to say, "hey...I love you and all, but maybe you should go back to school...I don't think this whole comedy thing is for you." Ok that's my rant on WACK comedians...please share you're opinions in the comments.

Feral-Child?

If you've never heard the phrase "Feral-Child" it refers to a kid raised by animals. Sounds like a fairy tale, I know, but it "has" happened. Check out this article on feral-children. One of the stories here talks about a Russian child that was left outside by her alcholic parents for 5 years. She was found at the age of 8 raised by the family dogs...barking, eating like a dog, and walking on all fours. She is now 26 and lives in a home for the disabled with the mind capacity of a 6-year old. It's mind boggling to me that someone would allow this to happen....chime in on the comments.

I haven't really watched BET for a while, they have this interesting new "reality" shows similar to the Hills i guess. I made it through an episode, so i guess it's not too bad, it reminds me of some of my friends actually. It's based on a crew of young black professionals living in NYC. Check it out if your bored.

So today I go to the bathroom at work to wash my face and take a whiz right?? Y is it the second after the door closes behind me I hear someone dropping some major business in one of the stalls!?! I just left...this is isn't the first time this has happened, but it still confuses me. Why don't you wait til you get home for #2?? Or if you really have to go, hold that thing when someone walks in!!!. It's even worse if it happens while your peeing and they come out while you're washing your hands...now you've seen their face and you can never handle business with that person the same way again. Folks, just save it for your personal toilet...please, for the sake of the rest of us.

NFL News *UPDATE*

Recently the Oakland Raider's linebacker Marquis Cooper, Detroit Lion's free agent Corey Smith, and two former South Florida University Football players went on a fishing trip on Cooper's boat of the coast of Florida. The boat was found wrecked with one of the former college players (Nick Schuyler) clinging onto some wreckage. The two NFL players and the other former college athelete (William Bleakley) are still missing.

*The official search by the coast guard has been called off, only the family members of the 3 missing men remain searching with private boats.*

Coming to a Theater Near You...v5

This Friday, many a fanboy's dream will come true with the release of The Watchmen in theaters world wide. It is based on the most popular "graphic novel" (lengthy hard covered comic to lay people) of all time. I have not read the book, but from what I'm told the story is incredible and will draw in fans of all backgrounds. The movie is directed by the award winner behind 300 and Sin City. Since it is a DC franchise you can expect hints of Batman cinematography as well. I'll be sure to let you know how it is.

Awkward Greetings

So this past weekend, I accompanied a beautiful young med-student to a formal at her school. At said formal I was introduced to many new people. Personally I, and many of my fellow Haitians for that matter, are kissers when it comes to saying hello/goodbye. Being so used to it, I often forget some people don't!! Lets just say its very AWKWARD when you're going in for a peck on the cheek and they put up their hand for a handshake!! Or what about if one person whips out a handshake and your hand is prepped for a good ol' "dap"?? Also an uncomfortable situation...please share your strange encounters in the comment section...don't be bashful, you can be anonymous if you'd like.

Snow Day...
