Etta Who???

*Disclaimer*I do not like Beyonce... But apparently this woman Etta James was the original singer of the song Beyonce did at the inaugural ball. Miss James did not appreciate the cover and has been recently heard talking ish about B. All I want to say is who the heck is Etta James??? She should be happy her song was heard at the inauguration of the first black president not to mention that it was done by one of the most popular artist of this generation. Old people...HILARIOUS

    Etta James is an amazing singer, but she needs to realize that even though her song's popularity is gonna last forever, her's will not. She needs to be satisfied knowing that she's left a legacy, and that her name will forever be associated with the inauguration of the first Black President.Old people tsk tsk tsk

    i think they could have asked her cause its not like she is dead granted people may not know about her and what not, she is still a legend. They could have asked both her and Beyonce I mean why not? I think she is mad cause that was such a monumental time in history and she would have liked to have been a part of it...and besides Beyonce had to ASK Obama if she could sing for him, its not like Jenifer Hudson where he asked her LOL

    Who is Etta James?! Are you serious?! This woman is and always will be a legend;however, her response to Beyonce and Obama is very crazy -- especially since Beyonce played her in the movie Cadillac Records... maybe she just forgot??

    Yeaaaaaaa Etta James is def mostly famous for that classic single. I have to say that it is a little odd that Beyonce sang that song at the ball. I mean the woman is still alive afterall:/ That being said Etta James is getting old and as my G-ma always says "the beauty of getting old is that you stop caring about what others have to say and just speak your mind"
