Inspiration...

My parents are the biggest inspiration in my life and they've pushed me to become the active blogger I am today....LMAO just kidding. But really they are the largest inspiration in my life. Recently my uncle won one of 2008's Black Engineer of the Year Awards for his technilogical and humanitarian contributions. I just want to say congrats and to let him know how inspiring that is.

Hey readers, you all inspire me too...go out and tell someone they inspire you...it's really a great feeling to know you're effecting someone positively.

Ha......yea funny

Have you ever been to a stand-up comedy show where the comedian was.....less then funny? Or maybe they really gave it their all but nothing tickled your funny bone? Or maybe you forward a video of their performance to your co-workers, not because of how funny they are, but because of how bad they FAIL'd! I just want everyone to know its ok to laugh AT them rather than WITH them. Why get on a stage and make a fool of yourself accidently??? Somewhere along the way someone had to say, "hey...I love you and all, but maybe you should go back to school...I don't think this whole comedy thing is for you." Ok that's my rant on WACK comedians...please share you're opinions in the comments.

Feral-Child?

If you've never heard the phrase "Feral-Child" it refers to a kid raised by animals. Sounds like a fairy tale, I know, but it "has" happened. Check out this article on feral-children. One of the stories here talks about a Russian child that was left outside by her alcholic parents for 5 years. She was found at the age of 8 raised by the family dogs...barking, eating like a dog, and walking on all fours. She is now 26 and lives in a home for the disabled with the mind capacity of a 6-year old. It's mind boggling to me that someone would allow this to happen....chime in on the comments.

Interesting New Show...

I haven't really watched BET for a while, they have this interesting new "reality" shows similar to the Hills i guess. I made it through an episode, so i guess it's not too bad, it reminds me of some of my friends actually. It's based on a crew of young black professionals living in NYC. Check it out if your bored.
