Hey readers....I found these funny, thought I'd share...

My wife was hinting about what she wanted for our upcoming anniversary. She said, 'I want something shiny that goes from 0 to 150 in about 3 seconds.I bought her a bathroom scale.
And that's when the fight started....

I asked my wife, "Where do you want to go for our anniversary?" It warmed my heart to see her face melt in sweet appreciation. "Somewhere I haven't been in a long time!" she said...So I suggested, "How about the kitchen?"

Still...in 2010, really???

Just incase you thought having a black president meant anything about racism in our country, you may wanna see what's going on with this post. This new league: the All-American Basketball League (AABA) claims that they are not racist at all, but they proudly claim the following: "Only players that are natural-born United States citizens with both parents of Caucasian race are eligible to play in the league." ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!? Could this possibly be anymore racist? YES....they made their statement about the leagues opening on MLK's birthday...BET claims purposely. They think they will be starting play in June...but I think they may have a few legal battles to contend with between now and then. Follow the links for source articles.

Everybody's a Critic...13

Sorry for the rare posts guys...with the earthquake, there's been a lot going on. Over the past weekend I found a moment to return to one of my favorite pass times....MOVIE WATCHING! The feature...Book of Eli...highly anticipated, post-apocalyptic action/thriller. I enjoyed the movie, and the twist at the end although it begged many questions...particularly HOW? This was a very different roll for denzel...he does action movies, but when do you see him wielding a weapon with that kind of badass'ery? You can tell he's a little stiff/uncomfortable in some fight scenes, but all his reactions in the movie make perfect sense for his character...I thought it was great. I give it 1.5 thumbs up (funny i know).
*SPOILER ALERT*
Religion/Faith are big elements of the film...do you think that the lead characters have appropraite feelings about what faith will bring the people of this time period?? I'm curious...

Halo for Haiti

You may not have any money to donate to reputable organizations helping the situation in Haiti, but thats not your only chance. Bungie will be donating 10 cents for every player on Halo 3 or Halo ODST who has changed their emblem to a "Heart for Haiti" on this coming Wednesday and Thursday. If you have an xbox 360, you likely have on of these games, so change your emblem and log on, even if its only for a match!

Natural Disaster

If you have not already heard, yesterday at about 5pm, the great island nation of Haiti was hit by serious earthquake rating a 7/10 on the rictor scale. More than 10 aftershocks followed the initial quake. Many are missing and a 10 mile area has been left devastated...this includes the capital. Please keep our families and loved ones in your prayers.

But I managed to find someone WAAAAAAY more into the super heroes and also more technologically savvy...hard to believe, I know. Believe it or not....Rihanna has set wheels in motion to release a book on June 29th of 2010. This book will not only dish out secrets of her past romances including Chris Breezy, but it will also included a 'sexy montage of never before seen pics.' These pics are....how should I say.....R-Rated. The book should retail for about $38 bucks. Now down to business...ever since 'the incident' Ri has been doing all kinds of crazy things including leaking nekkid pics and being called a satan worshipper for some of her recent songs. Most of which have tarnished her image (causing very poor album sales). Now my question to you is...will this kind of book/publicity bring her back to the spotlight (i know she hasn't left, but she's in the dark spotlight right now) or hurt her image further?? Comment...

Gooooaaaaaaaaaaal!!!

Many people have speculated as to whether 2010 will be the year of 3D...after seeing Avatar in 3D and this news...I think they may be right. This June brings one of the worlds biggest sporting events...the 2010 World Cup, not too many things could make that any bigger, except maybe ESPN broadcasting a match in 3D!!!! This is exciting, I'm sure there will be more info/logistics in the coming weeks.

Crazy Ballers...

In case you haven't heard...early last week, two Washington Wizards basketball players got into a very heated dispute in the locker room. The players: Gilbert Arenas and Javaris Crittenton began arguing over an alleged gambling debt owed, and ended by pulling out guns on one another...that's right, IN THE LOCKER ROOM! The rest of the team was shocked to see this go down in front of their eyes. I can't wait to see the repercussions of this thing.
