iPhone Excitement Returns!

Thats right!!!! Just days after the release of the iPad, Apple announces an iPhone OS 4.0 press conference will be held no later than friday!!! Thats right they are holding a press conference on April 8th, thats this week. Hopefully they confirm more rumors than they deny...be sure to check back here for a full recap.

Starting in the fall semester of 2010, Seton Hall University will be giving all of their students brand spanking new Apple iPads as part of their Seton Hall Griffin Technology Advantage Program. The students will even be able to download all their textbooks from the iBooks store straight to their iPad...sounds like a pretty sweet deal if you ask me. This college is very Mac friendly...they also give 13" MacBooks to incoming freshman. Sheesh, why did I ever decide SUNY...

In other news...

For those of you haven't heard, FOX has confirmed reports that the axe has been dropped on long running favorite....24. This season (8th) will be the final season, but I have received confirmation that a script for a '24' movie is currently being written. I guess Sex and the City has set a new model for shows that were not quite ready to call it quits.

Also...if anyone cares, yesterday Ricky Martin finally came out the closet and classified himself as homosexual. He did so with the following quote, "I am a fortunate homosexual man..." that's one way to step out the closet (as if 'she bangs' didn't do it for you).

This just in! Thiago Alves has withdrawn from his fight tomorrow night against Jon Fitch because of an irregularity discovered during a cat scan. Ultimate Fighter contestant Ben Saunders has requested to take his place. I was really looking forward to an Alves fight tomorrow, hopefully the irregularity was nothing serious. Tomm still promises to be one of the best UFC paperviews of the decade.

Weddings...how much is too much: photography

So wedding planning definitely ain't as hard as it sounds...not if you have a tree that sprouts money in the spring that is!!! The prices of wedding vendors are more than what some couples receive in gifts for the wedding. I've got a DJ, now I'm looking for a photographer & videographer (didn't even know the word/occupation existed until this search began) and I'm curious how much is too much? Yes, it's very important because you want to have these memories for a lifetime, but is it work paying $7,000?!?!? In case you're wondering that is an actual quote someone had the audacity to send me! Please chime in w/ your opinions & suggestions...because this is a mind boggling subject.
